Before You Ride...
Things you need to know before you arrive for you ride:
Riders should wear long pants with closed-toe shoes or boots with a heel if possible.
All children are required to
wear helmets, which are provided by us. You can bring
your own or rent one from us. Helmet rentals are $2.00 each for adult
helmets, which are available as well and are suggested! If you choose not to
wear one, you will need to sign an opt-out release form.
Vermont is called the Green Mountain State and there is a reason for this! We do get rain often, but as Vermonters say, if it's raining right now just wait few hours and the sun will come out! We do ride rain or shine and we do provide rain poncho's. We can re-schedule a ride if it is raining hard, but for light rain we still ride.
Children ages 6 and up are welcome to "ride" the trail with another guide, where they will ride WITH a second guide on one horse. The same prices applies when a second guide takes a "rider". This type of ride has to be reserved in ADVANCE.
