Before You Ride...
Things you need to know before you arrive for you ride:
Riders should wear long pants with closed-toe shoes or boots with a heel if possible.
All children are required to
wear helmets, which are provided by us. You can bring
your own or rent one from us. Helmet rentals are $2.00 each for adult
helmets, which are available as well and are suggested! If you choose not to
wear one, you will need to sign an opt-out release form.
Vermont is called the Green Mountain State and there is a reason for this! We do get rain sometimes, if it's raining right now just wait few hours and the sun will come out! We do ride rain or shine and we do provide rain poncho's. We can re-schedule a ride if it is raining hard, but for light rain we still ride.
The age limit for all of our trail rides is 14 years old, unless rider has previous experience and can safely handle and ride a horse. Children of all ages are welcome for pony rides. Age limit for lessons is 8 years old.
